Central Wisconsin Students Explore Workforce Opportunities at County Materials
County Materials recently hosted students from the New Horizons/Pathways program at the D.C. Everest Area School District for a tour of its concrete manufacturing facilities in Marathon City and Rib Falls, Wisconsin. During the tour, students learned about the ongoing innovation and evolution of the manufacturing industry as well as the training and development opportunities available with County Materials.
Focusing on grades 6 through 12, the New Horizons/Pathways program provides individualized educational programs to meet each student’s learning needs. The program also utilizes partnerships with community organizations to provide opportunities to explore diverse workforce opportunities.
