County Materials Helps Little Lakes Memories Create an Outdoor Adventure for Teen
County Materials helped Little Lakes Memories give 15-year-old Ashlyn an outdoor adventure to remember. Little Lakes Memories, Irma, Wisconsin, is a non-profit organization that provides people with disabilities opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors. The organization offers lodging, hunting, and fishing experiences for people of all ages and physical abilities. Ashlyn, who is legally blind but can see shadows, hunted at the Little Lakes Ranch and Lodge with her father. He helped her use a specially equipped gun to target a deer and then she discharged the gun. Stanley Nowak of Little Lakes said, “She was one happy girl.”
County Materials, through the Sonnentag Foundation, supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
