County Materials hosts plant tours during Concrete Pipe Week to promote the industry and to raise awareness of the many benefits of using concrete pipe and precast products for infrastructure. This year, we had the honor of hosting Minnesota Senator Nicole Mitchell at our Roberts, Wisconsin, facility.
Senator Mitchell represents Minnesota’s District 47 and is Vice Chair on the State and Local Government and Veterans Committee as well as a member of the Energy, Utilities, Environment, and Climate Committees. She served as a military forecaster in the Air National Guard and currently serves in the Airforce reserves. She has been a lifelong volunteer and prioritizes the well-being of Minnesota residents.
As a local leader directly involved in important infrastructure decisions, Senator Mitchell received an educational tour through our Roberts plant and learned about the important role concrete pipe plays in building safe, strong communities. County Materials offers plant tours for public leaders, industry professionals, and students. We appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate how our concrete products are made and contribute to growing communities.
