County Materials Response to COVID-19

Mar 20, 2020

County Materials Corporation is closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and following official guidelines from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control, and state and local health authorities. The health and safety of our team members, our customers, and our industry partners is our highest priority.

We are open for business.
Our production facilities across the country remain fully operational. Our manufacturing, customer service, dispatch and delivery efforts are not interrupted because of the COVID-19 virus. Based on official guidelines, County Materials is adjusting our business practices accordingly. Some of these proactive actions we've implemented immediately or have in motion include:

  • Evaluating and implementing alternative working arrangements for team members
  • Suspending retail walk-in business at County Materials locations
  • Restricting access inside County Materials locations for non-employees
  • Limiting our team member face-to-face interactions with individuals and practicing social distancing (6 feet of separation)
  • Educating team members about following CDC best practices for behavior and hygiene
  • Requiring the use of emails, phone calls and video conferencing for communications

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and take guidance from public health authorities. County Materials remains committed to keeping our team members and industry partners informed on necessary developments, and helping individuals remain safe by limiting the spread of COVID-19.

We value our dedicated team members, the continued business of our customers and our industry partners, and we thank everyone for demonstrating patience and cooperation during this dynamic and rapidly changing situation.

Sincerely,
Tim Sonnentag
President
