Alternatives, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is working to end domestic violence in Central Indiana. As part of our commitment to strengthening the communities where we do business, County Materials supports organizations like Alternatives, Inc. through its annual charity golf outing.
Founded in 1978, Alternatives, Inc. provides housing services for survivors, children's services, safety planning and danger assessments, and education and counseling to help survivors gain financial independence. Additionally, they conduct community outreach and educational programming for law enforcement, health care, emergency response, education and ministry professionals to break the cycle of domestic and sexual violence.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, supports dozens of worthy organizations and causes in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
