Reinforced Concrete Pipe Meets Complex Storm Water Management Demands of Mixed-Use Development

Mar 28, 2022

Ballpark Commons is a 300-acre mixed-use site that includes a 4,000-seat baseball stadium, an indoor athletic complex, and a ski hill. The site’s challenging layout demanded a storm water management system capable of handling a 100-year rain-event. Reinforced concrete pipe manufactured by County Materials was specified for this project because of its inherent strength and durability. County Materials supplied more than 16,000 LF of reinforced concrete pipe ranging in size from 12 inches to 72 inches in diameter. With a proven long service life requiring little maintenance, concrete pipe is a cost-effective choice for flood resilient infrastructure.
