On April 10, the County Materials’ Pipe Production Team in Roberts, Wisconsin, hosted their annual GUARD for Life Safety Stand Down event. This annual event emphasizes safe practices in the workplace and celebrates our team members’ ongoing commitment to making County Materials a safe, efficient, and rewarding place to work.
This year’s Safety Stand Down featured presentations on the key aspects of safety and quality, such as uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE), injury and accident prevention, and proper equipment handling.
Our Regional Manager, Carlos Villarreal, said, “This year, our Safety Stand Down centered mainly on improving housekeeping and promoting hearing conservation. The team in Roberts has implemented substantial enhancements in their workspaces, transforming them into better working environments. Witnessing the accomplishments fills me with excitement and pride. A heartfelt thank you to all our presenters for their dedication in orchestrating a successful Safety Stand Down.”
