Supporting Residents with Disabilities Through Easterseals Wisconsin

Feb 14, 2025

Easterseals is one of the oldest charitable organizations in Wisconsin, serving people with disabilities for nearly 100 years. The organization provides programs, including vocational rehabilitation, respite services, camping and recreation, information and referral, and public education to help people with disabilities live independently, become self-sufficient, and overall improve their quality of life.

County Materials partners with Easterseals to support their mission of empowering those with disabilities. One of Easterseals' initiatives is the FARM Program, which offers individualized, on-farm vocational rehabilitation services. This program was established in 1989 and has helped thousands of farmers with disabilities remain active in agriculture, maintain their independence, and provide for themselves and their families.

County Materials, through the Sonnentag American Foundation, targets support to local nonprofits and causes. We partner with organizations that support individuals in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
