High-End Apartment Complex Features Concrete Masonry and Clay Brick
North End is an upscale apartment community providing spacious units, a fitness center, and a second-story roof deck with fire pits and grilling stations. Conveniently located near the highway and various retail options, North End offers easy access to dining and shopping in the Appleton, Wisconsin, area.
The façade features more than 10,000 SF of County Materials’ Splitface Masonry Units in Sandstone, used for the building’s first story. These masonry units offer the refined appearance of hand-hewn stone, adding a touch of rugged elegance to the design. Their excellent load-bearing capacity makes them ideal for supporting multistory structures.
Nearly 60,000 SF of Bowerston Shale Clay Brick in Chocolate, supplied by County Materials, was installed on the upper levels of this development. With its subtle tonal variations, the rich, deep brown hue creates a bold contrast against the lighter shades of the masonry units below. In addition to its visual appeal, clay brick is inherently fire-resistant, offering enhanced safety and protection for buildings.
